As a blogger who has a Microsoft Vista running in the laptop, I been hoping for Microsoft to make major enhancements to the operating system and then news of a service pack for Vista came about.

I loved the changes that Service Pack 2 did to the Microsoft XP and hope that Service Packs for Vista toes in the same line. For start, SP1 should address the performance issue first before it could include new UI features.

My Microsoft Vista has been sluggish for sometime now but that is probably it is running only 1 GB RAM (pretty good considering that some of the newer laptops with Vista being sold with 512 MB RAM!)

Although the details of SP1 has not been officially announced, there have some leaks in the net and the latest being the SP1 having small UI tweaks. Nothing exciting at the moment but hopefully in the coming weeks, more will be revealed.
